LIVE OUT HOUSEKEEPER – KENSINGTON

Location – Kensington – LONDON

Bespoke Britannia is seeking a professional and experienced Live Out Housekeeper to join our team in the Kensington department. This role is for a large fully staffed household, including a Head Housekeeper, Nannies, 4 other housekeepers, Chefs, Drivers, and other support staff. The household is run to exacting standards and is a family home with 4 young children.

General Duties

• As a Live Out Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the interiors of the property to the highest standards. Your duties will include day-to-day housekeeping, cleaning to a very high standard, polishing and caring for silver and furniture, washing, ironing, and caring for delicate fabrics.
• The role will include cleaning and supporting in the smooth running of the multiple residences for the family and guests.
• You will work closely with the family office and be expected to travel between properties as required
• General duties include but are not limited to cleaning, washing, ironing, hoovering and dusting, changing bedding and laundry.
• Supporting with serving of meals and occasional setting up for events & dinners.
• Ensuring that the correct products are used for cleaning, maintenance of antique furniture, artworks and other delicate materials.
• This is a large 8 bed family home all with ensuites, and a range of family amenities so we are looking for experienced housekeepers who have worked in large houses.

CANDIDATE requirements

This position requires someone who is proactive and self-sufficient, takes pride in their work, and has an eye for detail. As part of a fully staffed household, excellent communication and organizational skills are essential, as well as the ability to work in a team environment.

• You must have been working in a similar role within a large private household, and have a good understanding of the processes. Experience working with family pets its also essential to this role.
• You must have a clear understanding of timescales and be proactive on ensuring all tasks are competed.
• We are looking for someone that is self-motivated, and has the ability to manage their own workload. Also you must have experience dealing with a busy household including contractors.
• You will need to be discreet, professional and can use your own initiative.

PACKAGE

• The client is offering a long-term PAYE role for the right candidate, £40-45K DOE. Please note this is a live out role.
• Hours are typically 9 hours per day – 5 days per week including occasional weekend cover. You will need to have a level of flexibility as you will rotate your days with four other housekeepers.
