HOUSEKEEPER – CHELSEA

LOCATION – CHELSEA

We are currently seeking a dedicated, loyal, and dog-friendly Housekeeper to join our team in London. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our clients household with exceptionally high standards. This is a full-time position, requiring flexibility and occasional travel.

GENERAL DUTIES

• The role will include cleaning and supporting in the smooth running of the residence for the family and guests.
• General duties include but are not limited to cleaning, washing, ironing, hoovering and dusting, changing bedding and laundry.
• Take care of clothing, including washing, ironing, steaming, and organizing clothes, shoes, etc. for dry cleaners or cobblers.
• Supporting with serving of meals and occasional setting up for events & dinners.
• Ensuring that the correct products are used for cleaning, maintenance of antique furniture and other delicate materials.
• Ensure a constant supply of household essentials and cleaning materials, including shopping when required.
• Prepare for the arrival of visitors and assist with their various needs during their stay
• Assist with luggage, packing, and unpacking for journeys
• Ensuring that maintenance is carried out when the principals are not in residence
• Coordinate deliveries and maintenance visits.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• Must be energetic, dynamic, and able to adapt to occasional changes in days and hours as required
• Must have good standard of English and good communication skills
• Must be well-presented, discreet, and have excellent standards
• Longevity in previous roles, and full checkable reference history is essential
• Must be dog-friendly and willing to occasionally assist with dog care
• Cooking simple meals would be an advantage but not essential
• Travel is essential to this role, you must be able to travel at the families request.

PACKAGE

• The client is offering a long-term PAYE role for the right candidate, £50K – £70k DOE subject to 10+ years within the industry with longevity with one family.
• Please note this is a live out role.
• Hours are typically 9am – 5 pm – 5 days per week hours will vary depending on when the family are in residence so flexibility is required.
